Description
Our dear friend Chameleon thought he would buy some HB graphite pencils but made the mistake of wandering along the coloured pencils display. The assistant came over to help, but could not find the potential customer!
For reasons not understood by me, the first version of this design is the most viewed of all
my designs here on FAA; so I thought folks may like a second version specially for the November 2021 RED Challenge.
For any folks interested, I highly recommend Faber Castell Polychromos colour pencils. Their softness allows for varying degrees of hand pressure, they never break unless abused and sharpen to perfection. The RED colours used here, are, from the top left:
Alizarin crimson
Pompeian Red
Fuchsia
Deep red
Scarlet red
Pale geranium lake
Red violet
Light cadmium red
Permanent carmine
Pink Carmine
Dark red
Deep scarlet
Rose Carmine
Middle cadmium red
Madder
Phthalo green
Then again, red violet, fuchsia, pale geranium lake and scarlet red
